Description
Català: Escut d'Utrera (Sevilla, Andalusia), extret de l'obra Trofeo heroico (1860) de Francesc Piferrer (retallat de la làmina 22).
Español: Escudo de Utrera (Sevilla, Andalucía, España), extraído de Trofeo heroico (1860) de Francisco Piferrer (recortado de la lámina 22): «529. Utrera. (..) Tiene por armas una puente sobre el arroyo Salinas, naciente de sus almenas una matrona con corona imperial, con cetro en la diestra mano y un ramo de olivo en la izquierda, significando á Utrera, colonia romana; la puerta cerrada y atados á ella un caballo y un toro; en el lado derecho del castillo un olivo y una parra, con esta divisa: Da vino Baco, da aceite Palas, y el el izquierdo un pino y espigas, con la divisa: Da trigo Ceres, da madera Cibeles; en bordura esta leyenda: Rica pues vacas, ovejas, caballos; poderosa en grano; en aceite fértil; en vino fecunda; criadora de frutas, de sal; en pinos soberbia, solo con sus bienes opulenta2.
