Русский: Это пособие по защите рабочих от пыли появилось в результате успешных совместных усилий правительства США и промышленности в направлении защиты здоровья людей, работающих на перерабатывающих предприятиях. Основной вклад в создание руководства внесли Отдел исследований в области техники безопасности и охраны труда в горном деле (Office of Mine Safety and Health Research OMSHR) Национального института охраны труда (NIOSH); и промышленная ассоциация Industrial Minerals Association–North America (IMA-NA). Отдел техники безопасности и охраны труда (OMSHR) в NIOSH занимается предотвращением несчастных случаев и профзаболеваний путём проведения исследований и профилактики, а IMA-NA представляет компании, занятые добычей и переработкой минеральных полезных ископаемых.
Особенность документа в том,что он разрабатывался в условиях, когда специалисты убедились в крайне низкой эффективности СИЗОД как средства профилактики профзаболеваний, и потому он целиком состоит из описаний средств коллективной защиты и методов профилактики пылеобразования - респираторы в документе даже не упоминаются (как и в других аналогичных документах NIOSH - с 2003г). В документе описаны методы, которые могут использоваться не только при добыче и переработке полезных ископаемых, но и в любой другой отрасли промышленности, где происходит разрушение материала, его размол, пересыпание, просев и т.п. процессы, при которых образуется пыль. Описанные в документе низкоскоростная и модифицированная низкоскроростная вентиляционные системы не имеют аналогов в литературе на русском языке. |
