Description
English: Cover art for Daredevil number 42 (Lev Gleeson Publications, May 1947), artwork by Dan Barry). In this particular story, Daredevil gave up his costumed identity to become an avenging newspaper publisher. As superheroes began to fall out of fashion towards the end of the 40s, the magazine focused primarily on Daredevil's side-kicks, The Little Wiseguys.
