This Commemorative Air Force F4U Corsair is a preserved aircraft from WWII the F4U Corsair was used by the US Navy and Marine Corps aboard carriers and airfields. The aircraft was also used by other militaries such as the British Royal Navy and New Zealand Air Forces. The aircraft has a long service history fighting from WWII to the Korean War. Sorry I didn't get the nose in the pic... I think I ran out of backing space, I shot this at the short end (40mm) of my long lens. ;-) Tuscaloosa Airshow May 8-9 2010.
