Description

A boy is playing with a hoop (old bicycle rim) in the streets of Pinga, a sign that life has returned to this town long occupied by the NDC (Nduma Defense of Congo) militia. On 4 December 2013, the Congolese Armed Forces (FARDC) and MONUSCO Intervention Brigade undertook offensive actions to oust this armed group from the town located 148 km north-west of Goma in eastern DRC. Un garçon joue avec un cerceau dans les rues de Pinga, signe que la vie reprend son cours normal dans cette ville longtemps occupée par la milice NDC (Nduma Défense du Congo).
