Description
English: Taken from the ABI instrument onboard the GOES-East satellite, this infrared/true-color (GeoColor) animation of Tropical Storm Bonnie was taken on July 2, 2022, between 07:00 and 12:30 (UTC) or 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM (Central Daylight Time). Tropical Storm Bonnie made landfall in Southeastern Nicaragua near the border of Costa Rica causing flooding in those countries. Now Bonnie is the first storm to cross from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean since Hurricane Otto of 2016.
