English: Bild 37 - Ortstafel (Vorderseite) Oberammergau, 1966. Für den Gelbton wurde das RAL-Farbtonregister 840 R gewählt. Der dort verzeichnete Ton ist in der Abbildung wiedergegeben. Verkehrszeichen nach den Vorgaben der StVO in der Fassung vom 29. März 1956. Das Ortsschild war 1000 x 650 mm groß. Der äußere, gelbe Rahmen war 10 mm breit, der darauffolgende, schwarze Rahmen war 25 mm breit.
