Description Bateria de Atalayon - one of three fortifications (Atalayon, El Jorel, Castillitos), built on a promontory Cabo Tinoso early in the last century and is used to protect the naval base in the city of Cartagena. In 1952, the guns were dismantled, and the building was given as warehouses. In the early 90's of the last century, excluded from the Ministry of Defence of Spain. Currently located in a derelict state. Open to tourists. Cabo Tinoso. Spain. Autumn 2012.
