Description
Deutsch: Auslauf der 3. Stufe des Wasserfalls der Gasteiner Ache von Bad Gastein mit dem ehemaligen Kraftwerksgebäude im Hintergrund.
Der Wasserfall, direkt im Ortszentrum, ist dreistufig und hat insgesamt eine Fallhöhe von rd. 340 Meter. Das Kraftwerk wurde vom Otto-Wagner-Schüler Leopold Führer geplant und 1914 errichtet. 1996 wurde es stillgelegt und 2004 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Aktuell (Stand 2020) wird das Gebäude als eine Art kleines Museum und für die Gastronomie genutzt.
