Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Australian television programming can be understood as a number of feeds. :1: Network Feed. This is the basic program schedule common to all affiliate stations. :2: State Feed. State-specific programming, such as news and current affairs programs. :3: Local Feed. The local feed incorporates market-specific programming, such as advertisements. In the case of regional television, this is the level where local news bulletins and other local programming is added. The programming seen by the viewer at home (4) is the result of the combination of these three feeds. Image created by H McKenna using Inkscape.
