Español: arras matrimoniales - Tradicionalmente, las arras matrimoniales son un conjunto de 13 monedas que los novios intercambian en la ceremonia nupcial. El contenido simbólico responde a la compartición de los bienes materiales de la nueva sociedad, cuyo contrato se perfecciona tras la transacción. De origen mozárabe, en su configuración actual establece doce partes (representadas por las monedas) para los meses del año, y una adicional para los pobres. Corresponde destacar que es símbolo de destino común, y que por tanto no es ni representa dote o precio alguno por la novia. |
