Description
In this allegorical painting, Man is being attacked by the Seven Deadly Sins and Death, but is shielded by the Seven Virtues. The inscription warns of the dangers of worldly vanity, and invites the reader to cast his eyes heavenward to the Resurrected Christ, and urges the reader to pray that his soul might reach heaven.
