Deutsch: Denkmalgeschütztes Bürgerhaus in Potsdam, Am Kanal 7; Das im Winkel zwischen der Berliner Straße und der Nordseite des Kanals errichtete Eckhaus wurde 1724 wohl von Pierre Gayette für den königlichen Kammerdiener Brandhorst errichtet. Es ist neben dem in der Nähe gelegenen Doppelhaus 4/4a das letzte erhaltene Typenhaus aus der Zeit des Soldatenkönigs in der Straße Am Kanal. Der zweigeschossige, unterkellerte Bau besitzt ein hohes Mansarddach und über dem auf der Traufseite gelegenen Mittelrisalit ein Zwerchhaus mit Giebeldreieck. Zum Kanal weist das Gebäude sieben und zur Berliner Straße vier Achsen auf. Die Ecken des Hauses und des Risalits sind mit gequaderten Lisenen besetzt; am Risalit sind dieselben sogar dreifach hinterlegt.
