English: Caption says "Airplanes can carry passengers from New York to Chicago for $52 fare, an increase of only 70 cents over railway fare, according to figures made public yesterday by some members of the Aeronautic Division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Flying time in the proposed venture would be about eleven hours, a saving of nine hours over the fastest rail time between this city and Chicago"
