English: Access to Manor Farm. Past red brick barn and sheds. Little Snoring increased in size during WW2, when a bomber airfield was established in the vicinity; this connection is commemorated in the Little Snoring village sign which depicts the rudder of an aeroplane > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/849554. The airfield > 849714 is now used for private aviation, some of the old hangars presently serve as storage facilities for a potato producing company > 849686. The Street > 849578 - lined by a number of 19th century houses, some with traces of an earlier past, is the main thoroughfare through the village. The church > 849609 is located at its northwestern edge. |
