Description

Padres da Ilha da Madeira em diferentes trajos (Cura, Seminarista e Vigário). Priests in different Atires Litografia colorida, 22,5 x 11,6 cm. Pub. in A History of Madeira, At Rudolph Ackermann's, Londres, 1821 Arquivos Particulares, Doutor Rui Carita, Funchal, em depósito no Arquivo Regional da Madeira.

O Cura e o Vigário trajam batina e sapatos de filvela, trazendo o cura barrete eclesiástico e o vigário, tricórnio, com bengala ou bastão. O seminarista ao centro, ao que pensamos, não parece trajar nada que o identifique com a Igreja.
