Description
English: HAZMAT response vehicle of the Australian Capital Territory Fire Brigade -Callsign: Bravo 20. B20 ACTFB fire appliances are painted in the yellow-lime colour to be easily visible for safety reasons. Research has shown that fluorescent colours (especially yellow-lime) are often detected significantly earlier by drivers, especially when a fire appliance is entering the observer’s peripheral vision from either side.
