Description
English: Diagram of Mk I Cartridge for British QF 4.5 inch Howitzer, World War I.

Rings (cloth bags) containing Cordite are stacked around a central core of cordite. 1 or more of the rings were removed just before loading, for shorter than maximum ranges.
