Description
English: An image from NASA's Kepler mission showing the telescope's full field of view on 2009-04-08 which is one day after the dust cover on Kepler was blown away. Kepler will search 100,000 stars over 3.5 years looking for planets using 42 charge-coupled devices (CCDs) with a total resolution of 95 megapixels. Celestial north is to the left.
