Description1956 M.T.A. Boston map.png |
English: Metropolitan Transit Authority map, dating from late 1955 or early 1956. Routes 40 and 100 were converted from streetcar in December 1955; route 3 was cut back from Haymarket in February 1956, and route 43 was cut back to Lenox Street in June. Contrary to the map, however, Science Park station opened in August 1955. |
