English: These lei come with a lid, contracted mouth, thin neck, round belly, flat bottom, wide shoulders, and two lugs. The shape of these jars resembles the fou crock of the later Ch'u culture, possibly served as water containers. The shoulders of the jars are decorated with copper inlaid dragon patterns, and the belly, lugs, and lid with copper inlaid rhombus patterns. |
