'Standards' at Bispham

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 'Standards' at Bispham. The centre track at Bispham could hold three cars. However, the southbound track could only be reached from the south end of the reversing track, so the further Standard here (No 160) is effectively trapped by the new arrival, No 49, whose conductor is swinging the trolley arm for the return journey. No 49, one of the best of the Standards, is now preserved at the National Tramway Museum, Crich.
