Description
English: Summit & Mercer, Capitol Hill, Seattle, Washington, circa 1915.

This image is from the King County Metro collection housed at the Puget Sound Regional branch of the Washington State Archives. Image LS0146.

I [Rob] used this in a rephotography piece in my local history article Forgotten plans for our Hill.

The image is undated. The streetcar opened in 1908, so in the article I said "circa 1910". However, I don't think the route numbering (13) was used before the city bought out Seattle Electric Company in 1919.

Maybe the automobile will help with dating. The building on the right was redeveloped in 1928. Top Pot's building on the left does not appear to be there yet, and it was built in 1920.
