The claim that this image was self-created created by a Wikipedia editor is dubious as the image is small and lacks any of the metadata you'd expect to find in a self-created photo. --Nick-D (talk) 02:04, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- DeleteReluctantly support delete. Hopefully a free image is taken/found soon. Timeshift9 (talk) 02:34, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- DeletePer Timeshift9. Orderinchaos (talk) 03:03, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- DeleteI see no educational value to this image, also per Timeshift9. IShadowed (talk) 16:50, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- Huh? What do you mean, "no educational value"?! Whether it's copyright or not, surely its educational value can't be disputed! -- Zsero (talk) 04:34, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Unsure Is lack of metadata really enough to justify deletion? Unfortunately the original uploader hasn't edited in over two years, so will probably not see any request for details of how and when he took it; but surely, absent actual evidence to the contrary, we ought to AGF, oughtn't we? -- Zsero (talk) 04:41, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Normally I'd agree. However, given Abbott's prominence in Australia this photo is going to be used widely on various Wikipedias and will probably be reproduced elsewhere in print and on the internet. The danger is that if this is a copyvio, it will be credited to Wikipedia/Wikicommons and bring both projects into disrepute. Nick-D (talk) 07:44, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Just want to show people that others are using this image here: http://kiwiexaminer.blogspot.com/2009/12/action-man.html and here: http://www.kevgillett.net/?p=2085 --SYDNEYres (talk) 08:51, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Deleted, probable copyright violation. Low resolution, lacks metadata. –blurpeace (talk) 02:05, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
