- Not true, I am the author of this file, the author has created a derivative work based on my original artwork. I have spoken with the people involved and they have clarified the issue and I have re-established the modified authorship history on Wikimedia Commons. --Camilo Sanchez (talk) 19:42, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- I have been receiving a deletion warning regarding this file: I would like to inform the community that the design belongs to User:Camilo Sanchez and it was uploaded to Wikimedia commons by me. There is a false claim of authorship by User:PabloPardo as he posted here. This claim is unfounded as apparently such user (or someone working for him) used my original artwork and claimed its existense as if it had been created much earlier than 2009. This claim is completely false as my work was completely original and based on a picture. As seen on the file history the user has been trying to claim authorship by changing dates and license information. I contacted the user by phone and by mail where he had agreed to leave such issue alone and where he had acknowledged me as the original author. This user apparently used my image for the government of Cordoba (Colombia) whom apparently is demanding exclusivity on the image although the image was originally uploaded as a CC license. - I cannot say who sent in the request into OTRS as names are private. I just passed the deletion request on - however there are admins here who can access the ticket to check the author if necessary. Checking Google Images, I do not find any image on the web dated prior to 2010 (although some images do not have dates, especially dynamic pages). I would like to see some evidence from the OTRS person to reinforce the claim. If Commons Admins need me to respond to the OTRS (rather than themselves), then let me know. Kept: It is difficult to understand who's claim is right, however User:PabloPardo seems to have remove his claim from the File talk page. PierreSelim (talk) 12:04, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
