Also:
  1. Two entirely different photos (probably both from this same source) have been uploaded as "versions".
  2. I see no indication that the video from which these are taken has an appropriately free license.
    OK, this one issue is addressed: I didn't do the "See More" I needed to see the license. - Jmabel ! talk 01:06, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
So: Delete. - Jmabel ! talk 17:03, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Jmabel, please make it clear – do you have difficulty with determining which license is used for certain videos on YouTube? I hope this may help you. Sealle (talk) 17:50, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is her only free image and I'd say it's somewhat unusual for Commons to delete images according to an anonymous letter. At the moment, I have no idea who the author of this message is, and who the "we" that he mentions are. If this is somehow related to the person depicted, it would be logical to expect that something else would be offered in return. Sealle (talk) 04:54, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, many thanks to you all for taking the time of looking into this issue. This is the first time I edit one of these pages, so please excuse me if I make any mistakes. I am the author of these messages. My name is Juan Martinez and I'm a very good friend of Maru Valdivielso. She has asked me to help her remove that picture from wikipedia. She will be willing to send you a more recent free license picture of her. --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 08:51, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Maru just send me three pictures you may choose from. The URLs are: [1]. The one with the footnote "Maru Valdivieso - Fotografía: Javier López" [2] [3] --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 09:54, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeff G.: , I understand, I agree. I'm on it already. We will send you asap a better picture complying with your indications. --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 16:05, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Dear all. Maru has already uploaded a recent personal photo she is the author of and sole owner. Please see [5]. Please, let me know whether you need anything else from us to replace the existing one by this one I just sent you. Many thanks to all of you for your time and efforts --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 07:51, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Juan.mart.rubi and Maruvaldi: That photo seems quite small for a 2019 digital photo and has no EXIF metadata, who was the photographer?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 15:44, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeff G.: it was a friend of Maru's, not a professional photographer. They took it to have a recent picture for Maru's personal photo book. I don't know about EXIF metadata, but the picture has a better image resolution than the one we are trying to replace. Don't you think we could go ahead with it? it would be an improvement at least. Many thanks. --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 16:45, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Juan.mart.rubi: I would prefer to wait until we have permission from that friend.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 21:05, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeff G.: Dear Jeff, an email from "Sara Sánchez de la Morena", Maru's friend, who took the picture, has been sent to "[email protected]" with the automatically generated text so as to grant permission to publish Maru's photo under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. I hope this is enough to replace the existing picture by the new one. Would you be so kind as to let us know when that might take place please? Thanks again for your help! --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 14:40, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Juan.mart.rubi: ✓ Done.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 14:57, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeff G.: Many thanks Jeff. Maru has told me to thank you as well on her behalf. I can see that it has been changed in wikipedia, see [6], however, has the old picture been erased yet? I can still access it, see [7]. Maybe it is Wikipedia's cache and it will be erased soon? Thanks again. --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 10:27, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Juan.mart.rubi: You're welcome. I prefer the new correctly spelled photo File:Maru Valdivielso.jpg too, but it is up to a Commons Admin to delete the old file and conclude this discussion, probably on or around 11 March per COM:DP.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 12:04, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per above, redirected. --Sealle (talk) 12:44, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeff G., Jmabel, and Sealle: Many thanks! Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 14:13, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeff G., Jmabel, and Sealle: Dear all, since Wikipedia is the owner of the URL where the old picture was and the new one is, do you ask google to update (index) this URL for the old picture not to appear anymore on its search engine's results ? If that is not the case, do you know whether I can do anything to achieve that? Thanks again! Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 14:50, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jmabel: Thank you Jmabel! I will look into it and if I find something out I'll let you, only FYI --Juan.mart.rubi (talk) 12:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
