Book does not appear to have been published before 1951, as required by the claimed license (see worldcat results), also PD-US rationale missing. Buidhe (talk) 00:02, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Author is unknow, created during the time of action agains Slovaks, and US rationale is part of template:
"A Ukrainian or Ukrainian SSR work that is in the public domain in Ukraine according to this rule is in the public domain in the U.S. only if it was in the public domain in Ukraine before January 1, 1996, e.g. if it was published before January 1, 1946 and the creator died before this date, and no copyright was registered in the U.S. (This is the combined effect of the retroactive [1], Ukraine's joining the Berne Convention in 1996, and of 17 USC 104A with its critical date of January 1, 1996.)" --GALAXY 2018 A7 (talk) 14:32, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- We don't seem to know when the photo was first published - and for an anonymous work, that is what matters. If it wasn't first published before 1951 then it won't be public domain under Ukrainian law. There also doesn't seem to be any justification of why this is a Ukrainian work. As we don't have a publishing date then Delete.Nigel Ish (talk) 09:10, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
