Comment I don't understand "its in app" as a reason for deletion. But the Project Gutenberg book from which this picture is taken was published in London, United Kingdom - so it's possible that it's not in the public domain in its country of origin, depending upon the life dates of the artist (who isn't mentioned, probably not Rappoport who is the text author). I think there is a signature at the bottom of the image, but I can't read it. Gestumblindi (talk) 21:49, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
- Comment. The author is Rappoport, A.S. (Angelo Solomon), 1871-1950 VIAF (71482297). List of his publiction can be seen her. The illustrations made by others as it can be seen in other Illustrations in the same book - 237, 100b, 122, 213, 225, 285 etc. According to this it vol. X-XII published in 1904 (Publisher: London, Grolier Society). So the illustrations are free in the US. May be qulify as {{PD-UK-unknown}}. -- Geagea (talk) 22:46, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- There is a signature at the bottom of the engraving, I think; it's just not legible in the resolution of the scan. So I'm not sure that we can say the illustrator is "unknown". By the way, your direct links to illustrations don't work for me, I get a "Please do not inline Project Gutenberg images" error message instead. Gestumblindi (talk) 00:44, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
