This file has been replaced with a higher quality version with a more appropriate name: Flag_of_Amestris_(Fullmetal_Alchemist).svg (see preview). The wikis that link to this file have been updated. The replacement file has Fullmetal Alchemist added in parenthesis to suggest that this is a fictional country; the naming of this current file is used for real life uses of a flag connected to the name Amestris.

Keep In use. In addition to that, the new file uses a different licence. If somebody is developing an educational project, that is GFDL based, they'll be unable to use the new version, since it's not multilicenced as widely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.175.181.53 (talk • contribs)
Info The last page that used it has been updated, and I've updated the license of my work. — VorteXLP (talk) 18:52, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep. I've nominated the invalid dupe File:Flag of Amestris (Fullmetal Alchemist).svg for speedy deletion, stating as reason: invalid dupe of File:Flag of Amestris.svg abused in a DR for the 2009 flag.Be..anyone (talk) 15:21, 10 January 2015 (UTC) Update: reverted speedy escalated to COM:ANV#VorteXLP. How is it an invalid dupe? It's clearly a different and higher quality version of the same flag --VorteXLP (talk) 16:02, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep and delete the duplicated, and re-edit the articles to link to this image back. Just upload the new version here instead of uploading with a different name. Also, the subject in the flag is just a pseudo-heraldic representation of the Amestris (pseudo because is a fictional subject of a fictional flag/coat of arms), and this file seems worse than the original Amestris (and also the dupe one). --Amitie 10g (talk) 19:43, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Delete The wiki pages referring to the fictional country in question are named "Amestris (Fullmetal Alchemist)", therefore the flag should have the same naming convention. As of now it has the naming convention of flags of existing real life countries. --VorteXLP (talk) 13:30, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
