Graziani died in 1998 but this monument could have been erected in the 1970s or 1980s. However, Italy has no Freedom of Panorama for sculptures unless the artist has been deceased at least 70 years here. In this case, this is not possible since we don't know who the artist was who designed this monument or when/if he or she died. Even if this sculpture was erected in 1973 and the artist died the same year, only 40 years would pass, so this image will still be copyrighted. Leoboudv (talk) 00:22, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

- We've already been all through this above. You can request deletion as the original uploader, but we don't always automatically grant it based on that reason alone. Meanwhile, it's usually considered poor form to immediately re-open an unsuccessful deletion nomination unless new information has been brought to light, or the situation with respect to the image has substantially changed. Some of the images have been positively identified as copyvio. Most have no exif data, and for those who do, the exif data is evidence that they are actually copied from random sites (the only information available is that the creator is "gd", a PHP library used to generate thumbnails on websites).

- Keep There Isn't need to delete the File:Nairobi Montage.jpg. The file shouldnt be deleted due to the sole fact that the images on it were sourced from wikipedia which is a free source.
The other pictures not covered by Wikipedia are covered under the Kenyan copyright law (Copyright Act 2001), which states that copyright on artistic works "does not include the right to control reproduction and distribution of copies, or the inclusion in a film or broadcast, of an artistic work situated in a place where it can be viewed by the public." Note that the definition of artistic works under Kenyan law includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, and architecture. Furthermore, unlike freedom of panorama exemptions in some other countries, in Kenya it is not restricted to only works permanently located in a public place, and can include works in private places if viewable by the public.
If the license wasn't clear it's now clearly put in a box/table in light green under the (license section) on the photo's page.

I believe Hxseek created this map, but unfortunately he used a Euratlas.com map as a template. (Euratlas claims copyright on all their maps.) - Keep This image was uploaded by a real human being. The file that claims to supercede it was uploaded by a robot. In my opinion it is an unnecessary slap in the face to delete an image uploaded by a real human being, whose feelings can be hurt, by an image uploaded by a robot, which has no feelings to be hurt. In my opinion it is a even more of a mistake if the robot uploaded image antedates the human uploaded image.
In this particular case both images have the same number of pixels, but the later image requires twice as much space. Does that mean the larger image is superior? Not necesarily. But, if we know the image the robot found is superior why wouldn't the robot simply upload the superior version over top of the earlier version?

- It was published by de:Reichsrundfunkkammer, one of seven departments of the de:Reichskulturkammer (initiated by Goebbels, Ministry of Propaganda, who captured the german radio network in 1933). - That doesn't necessarily mean that it's an de:Amtliches Werk. Under the current law it's most probably not, but to be honest I don't know how it was back then and whether we need to follow the old laws or the current ones. - In my opinion, at least the first two objects have "sculptural features that can be identified separately from, and are capable of existing independently of, the utilitarian aspects of the article." Also, this Commons page cites the American law, however the work must also be free in the source country and the Slovene copyright act states in Article 5, line 9 that also "works of applied art" are copyrighted in Slovenia.[15] Per en:Applied arts, "applied art is the application of design and aesthetics to objects of function and everyday use." - Keep: The bigger image is useful, and I categorized it to that effect. More details would be a fine addition, especially location and date, as well as the original hirez image, with proper EXIF.
This image is a good example ofsomething so far uncategorized:Dutch angle, to frame the foreground subject in a given way (here, balancing both ponytails and showing the subject as if looking down) and disregarding the background (in this image a clearly tilted horizon).

This is all my own work. The Smokey Mountain and Appalachian Mountain photos are the same and one could be deleted. I didn't know how to add categories when I uploaded them. I took that photo and the Little Gasparilla Sunset photo years ago on a Sony digital camera. They have been transferred over the years to our new computers, so probably lack any exif data. We actually had a painting made of the the Appalachian Mountain photo. It was taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. The arrowheads are all personal finds from Florida as in their descriptions. The photographs were taken with help from Jose Martinez on his camera at my house. Delete them if you like; I would like to replace them with photos with better backgrounds. The masturbation photo is mine, taken on my cell phone (I was there, I should know), but delete it if you want to ( I would prefer if you didn't). I thank Mr. Hedwig and all those who dedicate their time and efforts to make Wikimedia the wonderful and unique site that it is. Mmacbeth
