Flickr washing, cf. copyright under http://www.swiss-image.ch/index.php?id=121 Fernrohr (talk) 08:05, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Kept. The World Economic Forum has all necessary contracts to release this under cc-by-sa. I placed the {{WEF}} on the image and corrected the attribution the copyright holder specified on Flickr. The correct term here is not 'flickrwashing' but 'flickrvio' - this is however not a flickrvio as correspondence in the past with the WEF has shown. Martin H. (talk) 09:35, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Keep I don't understand this DR. The two images are more or less identical (although I note that the "C" is misplaced in "78°C" in the SVG). Policy is that we prefer the SVG, so why are we asked to delete it? Why not fix the SVG and delete the PNG? Jim . . . . Jameslwoodward (talk to me) 14:17, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Kept. Should be easy to fix. Jim is right, SVG generally is better suited for this type of image. If you have questions, you'll find help at Commons:WikiProject Chemistry. --NEURO ⇌ 17:33, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Juliet Landau
[edit]Juliet Landau (by way of her agency) has stated her dislike about the current photographs of her in articles. Via OTRS 2010071110010231, she has donated new images and requested the removal of the current images. In my opinion the files:
- File:Juliet Landau 2004 1.jpg
- File:Juliet Landau 2004 2.jpg
- File:Juliet Landau opening water bottle 2004.jpg
as low quality photographs with suitable replacements in for instance File:Juliet Landau 6.jpg are deletable.
is a low quality version and can be replaced by File:091107_snap_02.jpg. Though I don't think the "snap 02" image is deletable, I do suggest that per BLP subjects request the image is replaced in articles by the more recent File:Juliet Landau 6.jpg image.
Regards, TheDJ (talk), assisting User:Ironholds in this matter.
- Keep at least File:091107 snap 02.jpg if there is no copyright problem. Trycatch (talk) 11:59, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
- Keep all. If a subject doesn't like free photos that are in use, then this is an example of how one can be proactive in the matter and donate higher quality images. However, this does not mean that we need to delete images that a subject may not like. They are still valid for use on all of our projects, and their potential use is up to editorial discretion. --russavia (talk) 10:37, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, I have deleted one image, as it is clearly an exact scaled down copy of File:091107_snap_02.jpg. --russavia (talk) 10:39, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

To short tail, and proportianlly wrong forelmibs, neck and eyes. The eyes should not be pronated. Conty (talk) 13:21, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
This illustration are too inaccurate to be on wikipedia; The tail are too short, and the neck too long. The legs are too straight, and should not have knee caps. Also, the forelimbs are too thin, and the hands dould not be pronated. At last, most scientists would say it should have feathers. Conty (talk) 19:09, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

- Comment: "Unused" is not sufficient reason to delete. Not that I'm necessarily saying the image is useful, but we need a reason to delete. This is particularly odd because this is a recent upload, and it's the uploader requesting deletion. Was this uploaded by mistake? Or what's the story? - Jmabel ! talk 05:05, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
