Major General Thomas A. Wornham commanded the Third Marine Division in 1955. I was a sergeant in the 3rd Engineer Battalion on Okinawa and met the general. I read much later that he was a Colonel commanding the 27th Marines of the Fifth Marine Division at Iwo Jima. I would like to read more about him. I accessed the list of Marine General officers here several days ago but have been unable to access it again.
