These photos were taken by me, Arnold Reinhold. Images found elsewhere by me and uploaded to Wikimedia Commons were generally not placed in this category, though there could be an occasional exception that would be noted. Many of the earliest uploaded images here were created for simple:Basic English picture wordlist.

As a child, I mostly used a w:Brownie Hawkeye. In the 1980s I mostly used an w:Olympus XA 35mm camera (I had two), sometimes with A11 flash. I also had full size 35 mm cameras (not high end) and there are some Polaroids here.

Dates on film images are generally the month the film was developed. The image might be a month or more older. In a few cases, I was able to find press coverage of an event and used that date. The date of digitization should be in the image metadata.

I only infrequently reset the date and time on the w:Fugifilm digital cameras I used, usually when I replaced the battery. Times would be EST, even on trips, and could be off by minutes or hours. See, e.g.. File:Albert S. Samuels street clock SFO.agr.jpg, where the street clock (PST) is 16 minutes faster than my camera time. I would trust the street clock. The date and time in iPhone images should be very accurate, but I’ve noticed that GPS positions can be off by several blocks.--agr (talk) 09:12, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
