Blues harps, Richter-tuned harmonicas

Deutsch: Kategorie:Blues harpists. Eine Bluesharp oder Richter-Mundharmonika ist eine diatonische Mundharmonika in „Richterstimmung”, die über 10 Kanzellen (Blasöffnungen) verfügt. Durch Blasen und Ziehen lassen sich an jeder Kanzelle zwei unterschiedliche Töne erzeugen.

English: Category:Blues harpists. The Richter-tuned harmonica, or 10-hole harmonica (in Asia) or blues harp (America), is the most widely known type of harmonica. It is a variety of diatonic harmonicas, with ten holes which offer the player 19 notes (10 holes times a draw and a blow for each hole minus one repeated note) in a three octave range.

Français : Catégorie:Blues harpists. L'harmonica diatonique (à lame simple) est le plus ancien et le plus populaire modèle d'harmonica. L'appellation diatonique est liée au fait que cet instrument était initialement conçu pour produire les notes de la gamme majeure diatonique (gamme de 7 notes) sur une tessiture de 3 octaves (une octave grave, médium et une aigüe). L'absence de certaines notes chromatiques a conduit les joueurs de blues afro-américains à inventer de nouvelles techniques pour produire les notes bémolisées du blues.
