- Esby (talk) 13:45, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
{{user category|YanikB}}
- Esby (talk) 15:00, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

- The Owner of this file "Sophie Cléroux" asked me to upload it. Since she is mentionned I don't see any copyright problem. Tell me what to do to restore. thx --YanikB (talk) 15:44, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- Please respect my request to keep discussions where they started, as this makes conversations easier to follow. I am watching this page, so I will see responses made here.

If you do have the copyright holder's permission to publish the photo under that license or any other license allowing anyone to use, modify and redistribute the photo for any purpose, including commercial purposes, please follow these instructions. —LX (talk, contribs) 15:54, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, if she removes the file from her Facebook will it be OK?
- I see that Paranomio sources are not valid too. Too bad. --YanikB (talk) 16:28, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- No, that's not what I said. Since it's a photo from a third-party source with no evidence that the copyright holder has agreed to publication under a free license, you'll need to provide such evidence.
- The same thing applies to files from Panoramio. For example, File:Dyas Home in Hinsdale, IL - panoramio.jpg is fine, because it's clearly marked " Attribution-Share Alike by ingawh" with a link to the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 3.0 license at its source page. The files you uploaded were marked "© All Rights Reserved" at their original sources. —LX (talk, contribs) 17:19, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- OK got it. Is there a way to do the same as Panoramio in FaceBook? — Preceding unsigned comment added by YanikB (talk • contribs) 18:55, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- There is no license selection like that on Facebook, but the copyright holder could still mention the license in the description. —LX (talk, contribs) 19:20, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- What happend if it is me that modified the photo for her [1] ? --YanikB (talk) 20:19, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- If a work has multiple authors (such as one person creating a photo and one person making significant creative modifications to it), all authors have to agree to release it under a free license (and you'd need to provide evidence of that as well). —LX (talk, contribs) 20:39, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- OK, She will put the copyright Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 3.0 license on her side. Thank you and sorry for the bad translation. --YanikB (talk) 20:50, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Merci encore😉👍--185.92.26.127 21:28, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

Merci pour ton soutient
editSalut,
-- Schweiz41 (talk) 21:47, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
@Schweiz41: Je t'avais pourtant avertis. --YanikB (talk) 12:49, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- Rebonjour. -- Schweiz41 (talk) 11:21, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
--YanikB (talk) 11:37, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
--YanikB (talk) 11:39, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
File tagging File:Ericka-Cruz.jpg
editThis media was probably deleted.

Thanks for uploading File:Ericka-Cruz.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT ([email protected]). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Ericka-Cruz.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works.
