Cecropis senegalensis
Totodu74 (talk) 17:12, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
VI of birds
Hallo Totodu 74, you have a lot of beautiful pictures of drawings of birds, which are really worth to get VIs. But but we can always have a single picture per scope as VI. So it is very difficult to nominate a photo of the same species if we have already a drawing. In addition, a photo is not the same as a drawing. So I propose to add to the scope "drawing", so that we can have both, a VI of a drawing and a VI of a photo. We have the same problem also in other scopes: Archaedontosaurus adds "mounted specimen", for there is a difference between a living and a mounted specimen (we need both pictures for a good description), ans in shells we differentiate beween recent and fossil, if a species occurs as well fossil as recent by adding "fossil" to the scope when nominating a picture of the fossil form. --Llez (talk) 08:37, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hello, I have already seen this remark, and it was told that the scope could be changed if one day a photo is uploaded, or something like this... VI propositions are just a way to highlight a little the potential of old drawings, and if you also see a problem I'll put from now (drawing) in scopes. ;) Best regards, Totodu74 (talk) 08:47, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- I have already made the same recommendation a few months ago. I am always in favor. This will facilitate fururs scopes, for images of living oriseaux that happen in the future. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 08:48, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
