Kalisti.jpg --Ooops?
editHello.
My apologies, first, I can't do it myself.
Would you mind editing the file 'Kalisti.jpg' you uploaded, please?
There's nothing wrong with it, except that it's reversed, end-for-end.
You can see that the K is at the tail of the word. (The whole word is reversed, I'm just using that because it's so clear.) Even in ancient Greek, that was the wrong way to write it!
If you can, fine. If you can't, no big deal.
Many thanks.
Paul
- Thanks for the tip. It is as you said reversed text writting. If you find this unusual how about boustrophedon! --Odysses (talk) 14:24, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Pictures of Greek Coins
editHi, you uploaded some Images of Greek Coins. The images are as you say from this Site. The Terms of use there say very clear: All software on the Site is the property of CNG or its software suppliers and is protected by U.S. and foreign copyright laws and international conventions. The content of the Site may be used as a shopping and educational resource. Any other use of the Site, including the reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission or display of the content, is strictly prohibited. - so do you really have the right to upload the pictures here? Are you the photographer? Or is there a permission for the Upload at Commons? If not, we have to delete these images. Marcus Cyron (talk) 20:58, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Odysses. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Odysses~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
