Thank you for participating in Wiki Loves Monuments 2012!Dear Ferran Mir, Thanks to the participation of people like you, the contest gathered more than 350,000 pictures of cultural heritage objects from 36 countries around the world, becoming the largest photography competition to have ever taken place. You can find all your pictures in your upload log, and are of course very welcome to keep uploading images and help develop Wikimedia Commons, even though you will not be able to win more prizes (just yet). If you'd like to start editing relevant Wikipedia articles and share your knowledge with other people, please go to the Wikipedia Welcome page for more information, guidance, and help. To make future contests even more successful than this year, we would like to invite you to share your experiences with us in a short survey. Please fill in this short survey in your own language, and help us learn what you liked and didn't like about Wiki Loves Monuments 2012. Kind regards, |

Copyright status: File:Naonobu Ajima1.jpg
editThis media may be deleted. Thanks for uploading File:Naonobu Ajima1.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear. - @Magog the Ogre: Hi: I do'nt understand anythink. Today I have received an email from [email protected] (Ticket#2015050610021198) stating: Dear Ferran Mir, The permission state is fine, but your statement to him is problematic. Perhaps you missed the closing sentence: I acknowledge that I cannot withdraw this agreement, and that the content may or may not be kept permanently on a Wikimedia project. In other words, he cannot withdraw the permission, once given. Yours sincerely, Stephen Philbrick.
- Please, delete the file: the process to obtain permission is too much complex for me and I do'nt want to follow. Thanks.--Ferran Mir (talk) 17:41, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- Done you may want to review Commons:Model d'autorització. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 22:26, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
Actually, this is Niccolo Tartaglia depicted. --Xunks (talk) 10:13, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
Hi @Xunks: , you are right. I do not remember why I have uploaded this pic. Please, feel free to erase totally. Thanks.--Ferran Mir (talk) 10:43, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
File:Charles Briot.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Thanks for uploading File:Hilda Hudson.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT ([email protected]). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Hilda Hudson.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

- Hi @Geohakkeri: , the photo is dated 1915, more than one hundred years ago! I do not think that it exist any copyright still valid. Of course, you can do as you consider more correct. The file was uploaded three years ago and nobody has objected so far.--Ferran Mir (talk) 14:57, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, but at least the license template should be changed to some kind of PD template. --Geohakkeri (talk) 15:01, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Geohakkeri: , May be: {{pd-old-100-1923}}?--Ferran Mir (talk) 15:14, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- In order to use that, we should know the death year of the photographer. --Geohakkeri (talk) 15:17, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Geohakkeri: I do not know even the name of the photographer! Ferran Mir (talk) 15:23, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- See en:File:Hilda_Phoebe_Hudson.jpeg. The English Wikipedia considers the copyright to be still valid. --Geohakkeri (talk) 15:35, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Geohakkeri: That's true. Feel free to delete the file.--Ferran Mir (talk) 15:38, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
