Hexagonal bipyramids

Hello, could you please explain why image File:Hexagonale bipiramide.png must be in Category:The Sims?

I've seen [1], and this page shows picture of symbol used in The Sims. It is a green hexagonal bipyramid, shown directly in front. What I'm unsure is that, is any hexagonal bipyramid a logo of the PlumbBob? The image File:Hexagonale bipiramide.png is shown from a different angle ("from a higher position"), and it has different colors on faces (The PlumbBob seems to have all faces of the same color), so probably it should not be in Category:The Sims?

On the other side, File:Selectedsim.jpg is apparently in appropriate color and from appropriate angle, so probably it correctly belongs to The Sims category. — Stannic (talk) 14:01, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

The picture of the hexagonal bipyramid is not a picture of the Plumbob itself. But the shape is used, and very known, for the logo of the Sims. Dinosaur918 (talk) 17:29, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

Imeges Deletion

Hi I recently edited the page of the musician jef neve,I received a mail saying the images have been marked as a possible copyright violation. I may understand the comments about the images, but why is my text also deleted?

I'm sorry but I did not read the text, so I don't know if it's copyright. If you want, you can change the page again without adding images. Groene leguaan

Hoi,

waarom is mijn foto 'Groene leguaan.jpg' verwijderd? Er werd gezegd dat het een mogelijke copyrightschending is maar dit is onjuist. Het is m'n eigen foto die ik heb ge-upload naar wiki commons. Graag zou ik zien dat deze weer terug wordt geplaatst.

Slagharen

Het logo is een bewerking van deze foto: Slagharen Logo.JPG Er is dus helemaal geen sprake van copyright tenzij die foto dat ook is. Coldbolt (talk) 13:52, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Volgens mij wel, aangezien het gaat om een logo dat duidelijk over de drempel van originaliteit gaat. Om die reden heb ik dat ook genomineerd. Dinosaur918 (talk) 13:59, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Ik heb gezien dat je er nog een heleboel andere ook hebt genomineerd van het account AttractieparkSlagharen. Waren die echt allemaal geen originele foto's? Wat vreemd, een foto uit 2009 die zo lang onopgemerkt is gebleven.. Mij was het nooit opgevallen maar er waren inderdaad foto's die gewoon van de website waren geplukt, zoals die van Main Street. De foto's waren niet van 2009 (of misschien waren ze toen wél genomen) maar hier op commons stonden ze er maar sinds februari 2014. Aangezien er nergens wordt aangeduid dat de eigenaar toestemming voor deze foto's gaf, zijn ze dus schending van copyright. Dinosaur918 (talk) 16:09, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Volgens mij was de foto van het reuzenrad die je nomineerde er een die al van 2009 op Commons stond. Ik kan me vergissen. Anderen waren inderdaad van febuari 2014, dat heb ik ook gezien. Hoe dan ook "knap" dat ze er meer dan een jaar op blijven staan zijn. Uit interesse: hoe heb je dit feitelijk ontdekt? Nu laat je me eerlijk gezegd nog twijfelen, hoewel ze allen van dezelfde gebruiker waren en die zijn normaal allemaal rond dezelfde tijd geplaatst. Let er wel nogmaals op dat de datum op de pagina niet noodzakelijk de datum van de upload is, zie File:Overzicht Mainstreet Attractie- & Vakantiepark Slagharen.jpg (voor zolang deze nog beschikbaar is...). Hoe dan ook was de foto copyvio.
Ik heb deze eigenlijk toevallig ontdekt, maar kan me echter niet herinneren hoe ik daar precies op gekomen ben. Op Commons is trouwens een tool beschikbaar die afbeeldingen snel opzoekt op Google (zie: Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets onder de kop "Hulpmiddelen voor onderhoud", het knopje "GoogleImages tab". Deze voegt een tabblad toe waarmee je die werkwijze kan toepassen. Dinosaur918 (talk) 18:13, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Ik was er nochtans van overtuigd dat bij die ene effectief 2009 bij de uploaddatum bij de bestandsgeschiedenis stond, maar dat kan niet want die gebruiker bestaat nog maar sinds 2014, lol. Maar los daarvan, ik zal mij maar verder bezighouden op nlwiki in plaats van hier, ik slaag er maar niet in overzicht te vinden over Commons :P Rickie97 (talk) 19:03, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

KSA

Dag Dinosaur918,

Gisteren heb je mijn foto met het logo van KSA als mogelijke schending van copyright aangeduid. Hoewel ik begrijp dat ik mogelijk niet de juiste licentie aangeduid heb, weet ik niet hoe ik het probleem kan oplossen. Is er een manier om ervoor te zorgen dat deze afbeelding alsnog gebruikt wordt op wikipedia? Het betreft het logo van de organisatie, wat ik bij pagina's van andere organisaties vaak zie verschijnen.

Het logo is auteursrechtelijk beschermd en, voor zover ik weet, is het daardoor dus onmogelijk om de afbeelding alsnog in het artikel toe te voegen. Kan je een voorbeeld geven van een artikel over een organisatie waar er wél een afbeelding is toegevoegd? Dinosaur918 (talk) 14:10, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Een eenvoudig voorbeeld: bij één en vtm vind je de logo's van de bedrijven terug. Marie.Comyn1991 (talk · contribs)

Dat komt omdat die logo's niet voldoen aan de drempel van originaliteit, ze zijn te simpel en eenvoudig om auteursrechten te kunnen bevatten. Dat staat ook aangegeven op de bestandspagina. Het logo van KSA is dat echter niet. Dinosaur918 (talk) 20:56, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Het kan zijn dat je via OTRS de mogelijkheid hebt om dat wél te doen, maar in dit geval ben ik dat niet zeker. Op het artikel Chiro voldoen de afbeeldingen volgens mij ook niet aan de drempel van originaliteit, waardoor deze wél in het artikel kunnen staan. Dinosaur918 (talk) 19:17, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Hamit Karakus

Goedenavond, Vrijdag heb ik de pagina van Hamit Karakus, directeur van Platform31, aangepast. Nu zie ik dat alle wijzigingen weggehaald zijn, en sterker nog, de geheel oude informatie weer is teruggeplaatst. Sorry hoor, maar kan ook uitgelegd worden waarom? Er is effectief uitgelegd wat de reden was, zoals uitgelegd hier: "mag volledig hertsteld worden: bronnen zijn weg, externe links in de tekst, linksnoei, ...". Daardoor kon natuurlijk zijn dat de info mogelijks terug verouderd was.
Gelieve ook berichten en onderwerpen bij het correcte project te behouden. M.a.w. berichten aangaande Wikipedia, op Wikipedia te plaatsen (waar ik ook een overlegpagina heb). Alvast bedankt! Dinosaur918 (talk) 18:40, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
