Overcategorisation ?
editWill you please NOT overcategorise your pictures ?
E.g. the church in Sambreville should be put in the categories Churches in Belgium and Sambreville, but NOT in Categories Belgium and Wallonnia. You can't put EVERY image from belgium in the Category:Belgium, can't you? This would create thousands of articles in category:Belgium, making it completely useless. Samebreville is a sub-category of the category of cities and villages in Belgium, which is a subcategory of Belgium... so you don't need to add each parent category. Sambreville is enough. Regards, and have fun with pictures of the country ;-) --LimoWreck 19:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for you reply.
Yes... I think you are right ! I think about this, if I make a mistake or not to put photos both in "Churches" or "villages and city" and also in "Belgium" and "Wallonia"... I was ready to ask on the Bistro about this, but you were faster than me .
I begin to change this now. Can you say me if it will be better ? Didier Misson 23:13, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I see you already make the modifications. You are right. It's better like this. Ok, I well understand and I will not make "overcategorisation" for the next pictures I will upload. Thanks. Didier Misson 23:29, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- OK ;-) Good luck --LimoWreck 00:52, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

If you have this software, please make your own screenshot - without any protected logos... Yuval Y § Chat § 20:32, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Thanks for your message about this screenshoot [1]. I simply import this picture from Wiki UK (Ukrania I think)... But ok, I understand now ! SO MANY TIME we see the Google logo, that I don't think it's a problem... But you are right ! I can not put this registered logo on Commons... :-( Ok, I don't have this software (I can install it... but... no time). But I will modify this screen shoot to replace the firefox page on Google by something other without copyright... :-) Thanks. ps: How must I reply to your message : on MY page, or on YOUR page ? Didier Misson 21:46, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- We can continue here, I'll find your reply, or you could just tell me you've replied me ;-)
- The original picture from the Wikipedia have no source, so I really prefer that someone who has the program would make a screenshot of it, even with a blank page in the browser... ;-)
- Yuval Y § Chat § 22:45, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I understand. Can you DELETE this picture ? I remove the picture from "Ubuntu (fr)".
- I will try to install Ubuntu Lite (I want to test it) and I will make new screenshoots without copyright problem :-)
- Thank you for your help... It's true I have yet some problems when I put some pictures, even if I try to make attention to this kind of things... ;-) Didier Misson 00:02, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- I've deleted the picture. As for me, I'm still working with XP. Yuval Y § Chat § 21:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thank You Yuval ;-)
- No, my 2 daughters use XP because games (Simms, etc) don't run in Linux. But at home, I always use Linux. A long time ago SuSE, 3 years ago Debian, and now Ubuntu. My wife and my son too (he plays only on PS2). It's perfect for me (it depend what kind of software you need). At my work, I must use Win2000... So I think I touch near all OS ;-)
- As soon I will try Ubuntu Lite (or an other version) I will take screenshoot and put this pictures on commons. Didier Misson 22:32, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
