My name is Taco Fleur, I'm a certified kettlebell trainer with over a decade of experience. I have access to hundreds of kettlebell videos and photos, which I intend to share with the world through Wikipedia. I will use the knowledge I gained over more than a decade through research, authoring 10 kettlebell books, and qualification/certification like: Russian Girevoy Sports Institue Kettlebell Coach, IKFF CKT Level 1, Kettlebell Trainer Level 1 & 2, KB Trainer L3.0 by Cavemantraining, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Kettlebell Science and Application, MMA Conditioning Level 1, MMA Fitness Level 2, MMA Fitness Level 1, Punchfit Trainer and Plyometrics Trainer.

  • WikiGoals Improve kettlebell related material to reflect up to date information, fix incorrect information, provide photos and videos for other use and learn from. Especially improve the quality of technique provided in kettlebell photos, as most common kettlebell stock photography for sale is displaying incorrect kettlebell technique by models, not professionals.
  • WikiPlans Monitor kettlebell related pages on wikimedia and wikipedia.
  • WikiSchedule Each week devote some set time to it.
  • Wish list - if only... ...Wikipedia was easier to use, it's a serious brain puzzle, even for an analyst/programmer. Can't figure out how to communicate with people who delete my stuff without reading previous conversations with others. How does the hierarchy work anyway, one decides this, the other decides that??? People who have no knowledge about a topic and come in and make decisions, someone that knows about history needs to manage history, someone that knows about books, needs to manage the book section, someone from the history section should not be managing stuff they know nothing about. If only Wikipedia 'moderators' would not consider mens/womens magazines as reputable sources, and actually paid attention to what really matters, not the glossy look or fancy editors, or money thrown at promotions.

Life, live, and lived.

Mission

edit

I have several missions to complete in this life, and in no particular order are:

  • keep my family happy in the true sense of the word
  • spread the word of kettlebell training
  • close the gap between CrossFit and Kettlebell Training
  • help people discover more kettlebell exercises
  • educate gyms and boxes on how to use kettlebell safely and effectively
  • help people improve their quality of life
  • promote proper exercise naming
  • decreasing the divide in the fitness industry
  • help people see that exercise is not black and white
