Malacca

It was the Malacca Sultanate, then came under Portuguese control in 1511, Dutch control in 1641, and became Malacca Crown Colony (British) in 1824, part of the Straits Settlements. It became independent in 1957 within the Federation of Malaya and later became part of Malaysia in 1963 under Malaysia Act 1963.
