„In Gold zwei rote Balken.“[1]
Wappen beruht auf Siegelführung seit der Zeit um 1300. Gegen Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts fügte man dem Wappen das Brustbild des hl. Paulus als des Patrons des Bistums Münster hinzu hinzu, um die Territorialherrschaft stärker hervorzuheben.
