Under this are a Weston am-meter, a Thompson recording wattmeter, main switches for couect-ing the rotary with cither one of two bus-bars, a 4-point tield switch,the points in their order being ofT, discharge, separately ex-cited and self excited. On the bottom of the panel are the fieldresistance switch and a single-pole, double-throw starting switchin series with the resistance controlled by the switch on the start-ing panel.
