Highlights of the Henry County Fair Parade August 2010 in Napoleon, Ohio of Northwestern Ohio

It has always been the tradition for as long as I can remember, the Henry County Fair Parade would march all the way through town to the fairgrounds with hundreds of people lining the streets all the way. Parade participants would come along and pass out candy and other trinkets for advertising. The parade is a long march to the fairgrounds and in our August heat, it can be quite stressful. Old and new cars, fire trucks, tractors, and more just kept coming, along with bands and floats. We had not come over and viewed it for quite some time, but since some of the grandchildren were going, we came along also. A slight breeze began later that helped with the afternoon heat.
