Description
Français : Gravure Soirée chez le duc d'Orléans par Eugène Lami, gravure de Charles Rolls, composée en 1843 après la mort du duc. Variantes par rapport à l'aquarelle et gouache de Lami conservée au Louvre décrivant le même thème. On reconnaît le duc debout devant la cheminée en uniforme bleu et culotte blanche à la française, la poitrine barrée du cordon rouge de la Légion d'honneur. À sa droite l'ambassadeur d'Angleterre portant aussi des épaulettes (un homme en uniforme entre le duc et l'ambassadeur). La duchesse d'Orléans est assise de face vêtue d'une robe blanche. Lamoricière est de face, debout, au milieu du salon, les cheveux bruns.
