Description
Deutsch: Regulierungsarbeiten an der Salzach im Gebiet der Stadt Salzburg. An dieser vergleichsweise flachen Stelle des Flussbettes lagern sich größere Mengen an Geschiebe (Schotter) an, die den Abfluss von Hochwasser behindern, weil sie den Querschnitt des Flussbettes verringern. Es werden daher in Zeiten von Niedrigwasser diese Ablagerungen entnommen und dem Fluss dort, wo unerwünschte (die Standfestigkeit der Ufer gefährdende) Vertiefungen entstehen würden, wieder zugeführt.
