English: Vijay singh badgujar or Rana vijay singh 2 was a regional under Maharana raimal of mewar he belong to badgujar clan of rajputs and he was grandson of Hammir singh badgujar a well known warrior of his time and son of Amar singh badgujar his mother was umade kanwar of rather clan . He engaged in several wars along side with Maharana Raimal . With help of his in laws He attacked modern day hathal and rampur region and defeated Momin khizar a jagirdar of sultan of Gujarat and capture the land and decided to stay there for a while a week later khizar attacked the lost region but was again defeated by vijay singh with help of other regionals of mewar and his in laws of rathod clan. He told Maharana Raimal to him control of this region thus Raimal made him Rana of the region Rana vijay singh known to be the first one from his clan to get the title of Rana then he established a town named after him vijouraa .He is well known him books of mewar to repulse Afghan attack with help of rathod chauhan and bhati clans. After his death his son Rana Pratap singh badgujar become jagirdar of the region he repulse many attacks but vijoura got totally destroyed during reign his son Rana baldeo singh badgujar following invasion of Gujarat sultanat |
