Description
English: Wind is the movement of air, caused by the uneven heating of the Earth by the sun and the Earth's own rotation. The table shows the orizzontal speed of the air towards the earth, with a statistical perspective. More specifically: A) Annual wind roses; B) Monthly mean occurrences of windy days; C) January and July wind roses; D) Mean sea level pressures correspondent to local winds. The table is part of the Tematic Atlas realized by the TCI Cartographic Office with CNR - Italian National Research Council (1989-1992)
Italiano: Il vento è il movimento dell'aria, causato dal riscaldamento irregolare della Terra a opera del sole e dal movimento di rotazione della Terra stessa. a tavola, di questa somma di componenti, mostra la velocità orizzontale dell'aria relativa alla Terra, con una prospettiva statistica. Più nello specifico: A) Venti nell'anno: B) Numero medio mensile di giorni con vento; C) Venti in gennaio e in luglio; D) Configurazioni bariche concomitanti a venti tipici. La tavola è parte dell'Atlante Tematico realizzato dall'Ufficio Cartografico del TCI con il CNR - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (1989-1992)
