Looking up at Maman Sculpture

Summary

edit
Description
English: Looking up at Maman - a sculpture by Louise Bourgeois - located on the grounds of the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. A giant 9.25-metre-tall spider Maman (1999) with its 26 white marble eggs suspends high above the ground. Each day, visitors beat a path to the sculpture on the Gallery’s plaza, posing beside or beneath it and snapping pictures like this one. There are many of Louise Bourgeois' Maman sculptures all across the globe!
